Kids don’t get to have all of the FUN this summer! Join us at Kawartha Gymnastics Club (Peterborough, ON) on August 23, and discover what it’s like to train like a gymnast. 

Note: All participants must be 18+ years old

Gymnastics & Bodyweight Training

Get ready to train like a gymnast—no matter your starting point.

You’ll explore gymnastics-inspired strength and movement across most major apparatus (yes, really! 🙃): beam, bars (uneven and parallel), vault, rings, trampoline, and floor. Expect accessible coaching, skill progressions, and lots of hands-on guidance throughout.

Games & Extra Activities

This isn’t just training—it’s play.

To keep the energy high and the vibes strong, we’ll break up the day with classic gymnastics games and creative challenges. Whether you’re competitive or just here for the fun, there’s something for everyone.

Lunch & Snacks

We’ve got your fuel covered.

You’ll enjoy a variety of healthy snacks and a nourishing lunch, plus time to rest and recharge mid-day before we dive back into the action. (No need to bring anything but your awesome self.)

Have questions?

No previous gymnastics experience is required. This session is for all levels – and movement variations will be provided for a variety of athlete levels.

However, some fitness experience is required since this is naturally an ‘active’ camp with a full day of various activities. Having a “base” of fitness (for example, training a few times per week in CrossFit, yoga, strength training, etc, currently) will help set you up for success!

Note: Participants will ALWAYS be encouraged to take breaks and rest as needed. There will always be options to do some stretching/mobility work if you’re in need of some rest. Your safety + enjoyment is our priority.

This is a once-per-year event, and this year we are excited to be at the incredible, brand new Kawartha Gymnstics location.

Truthfully, most of our participants drive 1-2 hours in from outside cities for this special event. We promise, it is worth it for the fun, exploration… and not to mention the sweet photos and videos you’ll walk away with 😉

We encourage you to grab some fitness friends and make a day of it. And if you do come solo, that’s fine too. Many participants come solo and enjoy meeting new people. It’s a super fun and supportive environment.

The summer camp experience is $249 (no additional taxes). This includes:

  • Access to the new Kawartha Gymnastics Club Facility  
  • A full day of movement and gymnastics fun with 3 expert Coaches to ensure you are safe throughout (our team is highly experienced in coaching adults in a gymnastics setting)
  • Food (lunch and snacks) included

Yes! We will have lunch available for participants. Prior to the workshop, we will collect some details*.

We will also have some snacks (i.e. fruit) and coffee available throughout the day. However, if you require anything specific you are encouraged to pack whatever you prefer.

*Limited options may be available for specific dietary needs. We will do our best to accommodate (i.e. provide some vegetarian options). 

We will have an assortment of Strongnastics t-shirts and tanks available for purchase at the event for $25.00 cash or $25.00+HST via e-transfer (or credit card using a link provided on site).  

Sizing may be limited. 

Attire:

  • You are encouraged to where whatever active wear you feel comfortable in as you will be moving around a lot, but nothing overly baggy.
  • If you have long hair, it must be tied up.
  • Jewelry (unless studs) should be removed. 
  • You will be barefoot (unless socks required due to any medical conditions); shoes will be left in cubbies along with other personal items like bags.
  • Because it’s a long day paired with the gym being warm due to summer heat, you may consider bringing some extra clothes items to change into if needed.

What to bring:

  • You’re encouraged to bring a water bottle (sink and coolers available for refills). Your water bottle is the only item allowed on the gym floor.
  • You may bring additional snacks.

Refund policies:

  • Refunds: A full refund may be provided up until July 23, 2025. A partial refund may be provided up until August 6, 2025. Beyond that, refunds will not be provided. Spot transfers are available (see below). 
  • Spot transfer: Should cancellation be required, you’re encouraged to find a replacement (reach out as we might have some interested who missed out on getting a spot!)


Camp and company policies:

  • You are required to sign the Strongnastics Inc. waiver both after registering (online) as well as in person on the first day of the event.
  • You are required to sign the Host Club waiver on the day of the event.
  • Strongnastics fosters a safe, inclusive training environment. Because gymnastics naturally has risks, it is important that participants listen to Strongnastics Coach’s and Host Gym’s rules and direction at all times. Should a participant not adhere to our rules OR in any way create a negative training environment for other participants or coaches, it is grounds for dismissal from the camp (no refund).
