What’s included?

Gymnastics & Bodyweight Training

Gymnastics and bodyweight movement exploration (3-4 hours per day, broken up into smaller modules), including sessions on ALL gymnastics apparatus. Unleash your superhuman and discover what it takes to move and train like a gymnast!

Circus & Aerial Arts

A chance to pretend you are running away to the circus! Camp will include a specialty module each day instructed by guest instructors from Studio Cirque. Participants will get to try several pieces of Circus arts equipment both from the aerial and ground-arts disciplines!

Activities & Extras

A mix of indoor and outdoor games (weather dependant) and activities – because summer camp wouldn’t be summer camp without some of the classics!

PLUS, registration includes: lunch/snacks and a t-shirt or tank for each participant.

Our Playground

Our annual summer camp group gets access to the ENTIRE Forest City Gymnastics Club space.

Have questions?

No previous gymnastics experience is required. This summer camp is for all levels – and movement variations will be provided for a variety of athlete levels.

However, some fitness experience is required since this is naturally an ‘active’ camp with 4+ hours per day of various activities. Having a “base” of fitness (for example, training a few times per week in CrossFit, yoga, strength training, etc, currently) will help set you up for success!

Note: Participants will ALWAYS be encouraged to take breaks and rest as needed. There will always be options to do some stretching/mobility work if you’re in need of some rest. Your safety + enjoyment is our priority.

The summer camp experience is $389. This includes:

  • Use of the entire gymnastics space for our group (woohoo!) 
  • Two (2) full days of movement, cirque and, of course, gymnastics with 3+ expert Coaches to ensure you are safe throughout
  • Food (lunch and snacks) included both days
  • Special event t-shirt or tank

Yes! We will have lunch available for participants both days. Prior to the workshop, we will collect some details*.

We will also have some snacks (i.e. fruit) and coffee available throughout the day. However, if you require anything specific you are encouraged to pack whatever you prefer.

*Limited options may be available for specific dietary needs. We will do our best to accommodate (i.e. provide some vegetarian options). 

Attire:

  • You are encouraged to where whatever active wear you feel comfortable in as you will be moving around a lot, but nothing overly baggy.
  • If you have long hair, it must be tied up.
  • Jewelry (unless studs) should be removed. 
  • You will be barefoot (unless socks required due to any medical conditions); shoes will be left in cubbies along with other personal items like bags.
  • Because it’s a long day paired with the gym being warm due to summer heat, you may consider bringing some extra clothes items to change into if needed.

What to bring:

  • You’re encouraged to bring a water bottle (sink and coolers available for refills). Your water bottle is the only item allowed on the gym floor.
  • You may bring additional snacks.

Because this is a two-day event, you may consider booking in at local hotels or Air BnB to reduce travel between the two days, or carpool with friends!

We have also kept the timing from 10:00am-4:00pm each day to accommodate those coming from further away.

Optional: For anyone local or staying from out of town, we will reserve a table at a local downtown London restaurant for some extra social time outside of the gym! 

Don’t worry, we won’t make it a late night as we know there’s still a full day of gymnastics fun coming up Sunday 😉

Refund policies:

  • Refunds are not available after May 31, 2024. Should cancellation be required, you’re encouraged to find a replacement (reach out as we might have some interested who missed out on getting a spot!)

Summer camp and company policies:

  • You are required to sign the Strongnastics Inc. waiver both upon registering as well as in person on the first day of the event.
  • You are required to sign the Forest City Gymnastics Club waiver on July 20 prior to starting our first day.
  • Strongnastics fosters a safe, inclusive training environment. Because gymnastics naturally has risks, it is important that participants listen to Strongnastics/FCGC Coach’s rules and direction at all times. Should a participant not adhere to our rules OR in any way create a negative training environment for other participants or coaches, it is grounds for dismissal from the camp (no refund). 

We’re sorry you weren’t able to secure a spot. We start promoting the event months in advance, and always encourage people secure their spots ASAP to ensure they get one.
