Handstand RX

Ready to level up your handstand and work on skills like free-balance, handstand walking and handstand push ups?

You’ve spent time building your foundation. You’re confident in your shapes (i.e. hollow holds), you are confident on the wall, and have (at least a base of) confidence in kicking up out on the floor… BUT despite your desire to ‘up’ your inversion game, you’re not quite sure the best next steps to get there, or could use a refresher. 

During our 2-hours together, expect to explore:

  • Flexibility drills to improve your handstand line
  • A review of the foundations to ensure you’re set up for success
  • Free-balance handstand drills and spotting
  • Handstand walking drills and spotting
  • Discussion and practice of different types of handstand push up

Please note that pre-requisites are required. In order to attend this session, you must be able to complete: 30s+ Wall-facing handstand hold (close to wall), 30s+ Open body hollow hold, Have a base of confidence in kicking up to handstand. If you’re not quite ready, consider joining our Foundations workshop.

Frequently asked questions

This is an intermediate+ workshop with the expectation that you have a solid foundation of your handstand, including:

  • 30s+ Wall-facing (close to wall / stacked) handstand hold
  • 30s+ Open hollow body hold
  • Basic understanding/confidence in getting upside down
